Paletoss Grande is a beetle-like Bugsnak resembling two paletas frozen together. It is found in Boiling Bay.
If its icy armor is thawed, it can break into two Paletosses.
Strategy[]
Paletoss Grande is an aggressive Bugsnak and will freeze anything it charges into while frosty. To catch it, its protective layer of frost must first be thawed, either by luring it into water or having it come into contact with fire/lava. In Boiling Bay, there are lava streams, a lava cave, and ablaze Bugsnax such as Noodler and Flamin' Cheepoof. Once thawed, the player has a limited time to catch it before it breaks into two Paletosses. It must be knocked out by the Trip Shot or another aggressive Snak, such as a Cocomite. Alternatively, Paletoss Grande can be captured in just one step by luring it into a flaming Trip Shot, thawing and stunning it at once.

Trivia[]
- Paletoss Grande has five attributes, the maximum of any Bugsnak. It shares this trait with Mama Mewon, Green Grapeskeeto, Scoopy Banoopy, and Tikkada Masala.
- If you wait 15 seconds after thawing Paletoss Grande, it usually turns into two Paletosses. However, setting it on fire before it breaks will reset the timer.
