Minimaki is a bristle worm-like Bugsnak resembling Sushi rolls with grains of rice as "legs". They can be found in Boiling Bay as part of the Megamaki encounter and will appear on their own as individual Bugsnax in the same area after Megamaki is defeated.

Strategy[]

When Megamaki is tripped using the Trip Shot, its body segments will collapse into individual Minimaki, which will flee from the player. In this encounter, the Minimaki do not put up a fight, and can be captured simply by using the Bug Net. Alternately, They can be captured using the Snakgrappler.

After Megamaki is defeated, a group of Minimaki appears near the shipwreck with the treasure chest in Boiling Bay. These Minimaki are aggressive, and will shoot explosive roe at the player. They can be captured simply with the Snak Trap, but their projectiles can easily knock the trap far away.

Trivia[]

  • Minimaki is the only cycloptic Bugsnak.
  • Megamaki is based on a bristle worm, making Minimaki's "bug" basis a single worm segment.
    • This basis would also make Minimaki's rice "legs" more similar to parapodia.
