Megamaki is a Legendary Bugsnak that appears in Boiling Bay during Wiggle's sidequest, "Dance with the Dragon!" It resembles a bristle worm, as well as a long sushi roll, particularly a dragon roll.
Strategy[]
Megamaki is a very large Bugsnak that consists of ten segments; the Megamaki head, as well as nine Minimaki followers. Due to the size of this Bugsnak and the method required to catch it, it's recommended to have an empty inventory before starting this encounter.
Megamaki is highly aggressive and will shoot many roe eggs at the player if they get too close. It will swim and fly in a large repeating path throughout the Bay.
The player must make strategic use of the Trip Shot, using patches of hardened lava on the ground and the giant chopsticks in the bay, in order to stun it. Megamaki's explosive eggs may temporarily destroy these chopsticks, making it more difficult to place the Trip Shot.
Once Megamaki is stunned, it will break apart into segments. The player then has a limited amount of time to run in and catch as many Minimaki segments with their Bug Net or Snakgrappler as soon as as possible before it reforms.
Repeat the process as long as needed until all of the Minimaki have been collected. Once each segment is gone, the head of Megamaki will be catchable with the net/Snakgrappler.

Trivia[]
- Megamaki's bug basis is a bristle worm and the developers have referred to it as a "sea centipede" as well. Wiggle refers to it as a dragon in-game.
- The music that plays in Megamaki's Battle is called "Megamaki Attack". The song Wiggle performs before Megamaki appears is titled "The Megamaki Serenade".
- The song "Megamaki Attack" is likely a reference to the song "Sushi Attack" in Octodad: Dadliest Catch, similarly made by Young Horses and composed by Seth Parker.
- Megamaki is the only Legendary Bugsnak to not have the Breakable attribute. This is because Megamaki itself is merely the head segment, and the rest of its "body" is composed of Minimaki.
- Its bristle worm categorization may be a reference to a Wyrm, a type of serpentine dragon.
- Megamaki is the only Legendary Bugsnak to have only one word in its name.
