Mama Mewon is a Legendary Bugsnak found in Flavor Falls during Chandlo's sidequest, Throw Down! It resembles an enormous tick, as well as a watermelon.
Strategy[]
Once awoken many Wee Mewons will spawn bouncing around. Lay down the Snak Trap in front of one of the statues. A Wee Mewon will wander into it — trigger the trap when this happens. The Mama Mewon, in an attempt to free "its offspring", will charge into it and slam into the statue behind it. While staggered, use the Snakgrappler to pull down the stalactite on top of it. Doing so three times has it charge into you - sending you to a brief cutscene with Chandlo. He suggests he will distract the creature while you drop more stalactites. It rams into him and be stunned once more. Use the Snakgrappler on the stalactite above one last time and then go in for the capture.

- Mama Mewon's appearance is based particularly on a blood-engorged tick.
- Mama Mewon was the first Legendary Bugsnak revealed, as it was seen in the first trailer, as well as in the key art.
- The music that plays during the Mama Mewon battle is called "Mama Mewon's Lair".
- Chandlo's footnote on Mama Mewon is a reference to Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors.
- Chandlo refers to Mama Mewon with she/her pronouns.
- If the player stands close to the door before Chandlo opens it, they can hear Mama Mewon's snoring, as well as the Ghost Stories music playing faintly.
