Green Crapple is a crab-like Bugsnak resembling a sliced green apple. It is found in Boiling Bay.
Strategy[]
Crapples are curious Bugsnax that patrol a set area. If something interests them, they will pick it up and try to carry it back to their underwater lair. For example, a Crapple may pick up a Buggy Ball covered in chocolate or peanut butter, or a full Snak Trap. They will run away if the player approaches, dropping whatever they are carrying.
If a Crapple successfully brings something back home, it will throw that thing on top of the lair, and then continue walking. If it throws a Bugsnak to its lair, that Snak will be momentarily stunned, and vulnerable to capture in the Bug Net.
Crapples can be caught simply by placing a Snak Trap in their path.

- The file names of Crapple's voice clips refer to it as "Clawbler". "Crapple" and "Clawbler" were both strongly considered as the Bugsnak's name, and the final name was decided by its voice actor's reaction.[1]
- Crapple is a visual pun on "crabapple".
- While it is likely that Triffany inherited her green coloration from her grandmother, Triffany's quote for the Green Crapple may also be a reference to Granny Smith apples, which Green Crapple resembles.
- The music that plays in Boiling Bay during the night is called "Crapple's Lullaby", which refers to Green Crapple.
