The Journalist follows him back to Snaxburg, after their late arrival on Snaktooth Island. He, along with Wambus Troubleham, is the first Grumpus to return to Snaxburg after The Fight; requesting the Journalist's help with finding and bringing back everybody else.
Filbo, Wambus and Beffica Winklesnoot's main quests all function partially as tutorials: with Filbo teaching the player how to scan and catch Bugsnax, Wambus teaching to use the Sauce Slinger and interactions between Bugsnax, and Beffica teaching how to use the Journal.
