Deviled Eggler is a giant wasp-like Bugsnak resembling a deviled egg. It is found in Broken Tooth, debuting in The Isle of BIGsnax.

Strategy[]

A Deviled Eggler will not spawn until the Giant Eggler Shell containing it has been cracked in the egg cracker at the center of the crater. There are three Giant Eggler Shells in total:

  • one in the crater close to the egg cracker
  • one held by a Spaghider in a tree
  • one in a shrine behind a Buggy Ball maze.

Once a shell is found, it can be moved by pushing or grappling it. Tikkada Masala will also pick up uncracked shells it encounters, and bring them to the crater. Once a shell is grappled into the egg cracker, it will automatically be cracked, releasing Deviled Eggler. Once a shell is cracked open, it will not need to be opened again on that save file, and the Deviled Eggler will respawn out of its shell.

Deviled Eggler must be shrunken and have its fire extinguished to capture it. This can be achieved by covering a Millimochi with Hot Sauce, causing Deviled Eggler to be lured to it and neutralize both on contact. Once Deviled Eggler is extinguished, Shrink Spice can easily be thrown at it, and it can then be captured in the Bug Net.

Trivia[]

  • When flying, Deviled Eggler uses four egg slices as wings, with two hanging down as legs. When walking, its four "wings" instead function as additional legs.
  • Because Eggler is based on a slug, the inspiration of Deviled Eggler was thought to be a Sea Angel.
  • Devilled Eggler is one of two Bugsnax along with Bunger Royale found on Broken Tooth which is a variant of one found on Snaktooth Island.
