Big Bopsicle is a beetle-like Bugsnak resembling a double popsicle. It is found in Sugarpine Woods. If its icy armor is thawed, it can break into two Bopsicles.
Physical appearance[]
Big Bopsicle is based on an atlas beetle (species Chalcosoma atlas) as well as a popsicle. Its body is a double purple popsicle, with both wooden sticks forming a large pair of mandibles. It has two angry eyes, and four legs, each made of two additional sticks.
Strategy[]
The Big Bopsicle is an aggressive Bugsnak and will attack when the player gets too close to it. Furthermore, it also will freeze any attacker. Big Bopsicles can only be caught complete in two steps - first - the Bopsicle must lose its power to freeze. This can be done in leading it into warm water or near fire. Second step - movement of the Big Bopsicle must be stopped. The Buggy Ball can be used to lure the Bopsicle, the Trip Shot is useful to stop the Bopsicle. Once it's lost its power to freeze, it soon starts to break up into two Bopsicles. It's necessary to be quick with the Bug Net to catch it while it is stunned. You can also catch it by lighting the Tripshot on fire and luring the Bopsicle towards it

- Big Bopsicle was originally blue, as seen in some early promotional material. It was changed to purple after agreement that it would look more appetizing.
