Baby Cakelegs is a daddy longlegs-like Bugsnak resembling a slice of frosted cake. They first appear on Frosted Peak during the encounter with Daddy Cakelegs, and will respawn in the lower cave after the boss is defeated.
Unlike the other Legendary "underlings", they only come to be when the Daddy Cakelegs loses a layer, as the Baby Cakelegs are the slices of that layer. They are harmless and walk off to where the rest of the cake went, unintentionally leading the Journalist to where Daddy Cakelegs went off to.
Design[]
Baby Cakelegs is based on a daddy longlegs, or harvestman (order Opiliones), as well as a slice of birthday cake. Its main body is a triangular slice of cake with light blue frosting, and rainbow sprinkles on the lower end of its back. The cake itself appears to be confetti cake, with alternating layers of cake and chocolate cream. It has four small candles for legs, which are gray with multicolored stripes, with wicks that appear burnt.
Strategy[]
In between phases of the Daddy Cakelegs fight, four Baby Cakelegs appear and happily walk in a line towards Daddy Cakelegs' new location. They are incredibly easy to catch by placing a Snak Trap in their path, making it possible to capture the whole swarm with a single trap.
