The journalist adjusted his coat. He knew he had a long day ahead of him.
"Journalist, I need you. Now" said the leader."M'kay, boss" the journalist said, getting up. They went over to the meeting area. Then, the leader spoke.
"I need you to take care of a certain target of ours. Specifically a grumpus named Snorpington Fizzlebean."
The journalist looked at the leader in disbelief. Sure, he was a member of the grumpinati, but Snorpy was his friend! "O-ok. Will do" he said, voice breaking slightly. He got up and headed to Snaxburg. *None of this would've happened if I hadn't joined* he thought. He remembered everything that happened. He remembered shaking hands with the leader, unknowing what would happen. He then arrived and Snaxburg, and headed to the mill. Snorpy and Chandlo were both asleep. "I'm so sorry, Snorpy..." He said, as he began to do what the leader wanted him to do.
When Snorpy awoke, he found himself tied to a pole. "W-what the grump?!" He yelled. He then heard a familiar voice. "Shame, isn't it?" The journalist said, stepping closer to the yellow grumpus. "We used to be friends. Now, we're enemies..."
Snorpy teared up, not believing the grump in front of him was really the journalist. "Chum... Why...?" He asked, on the verge of crying.
